
Parent Company Atlantic Bridge Aviation (“ABA”) was formed in 1988 and is involved in aviation consultancy and aircraft leasing as well as airport and airline operations. Through its subsidiary, ABA is both a partner and active contributor to the development of London Ashford Airport Limited, which aims to become a strategic component of the United Kingdom’s southeast airport infrastructure network.

Graduate of the Oxford Air Training School in 1975, Mr. Gordon worked for British Caledonian for twelve years as a first officer and captain flying BAC 1-11 and DC-10 aircraft world-wide.
In 1981 and in parallel with full-time airline flying, Mr. Gordon built a successful aircraft sales, management, aircraft acquisition and delivery company focusing on aircraft purchased in the US and sold in Europe.
Mr. Gordon became the majority shareholder of the Lydd Airport Group in 1987, and subsequently created Atlantic Bridge Aviation Limited, active in consultancy, professional aircraft sales, leasing, and aircraft operations. Since inception, ABA has not only undertaken projects on behalf of clients in Europe, but has also had a special focus on those in the developing world.
